EchotypeEchotype is free on your Mac, and Pro comes with a 14-day trial without a card, so you can try it before you pay. If you pay and it still isn't right for you, here is how refunds work.
Your first payment
Email us within 14 days of your first Pro payment, monthly or yearly. If you have used fewer than 2,000 words of Echotype Cloud since you paid, we refund it in full. You don't need to give a reason.
Renewals
Renewals are not refunded. You can cancel any time from Account in the app, and you keep Pro until the end of the period you have paid for. If you forgot to cancel a yearly plan and write to us within 14 days of the renewal, we will look at it.
Mistakes
If you were charged twice, charged after you cancelled, or charged the wrong amount, we refund the extra charge whenever you tell us.
How to ask
Email support@tryechotype.tech from the address you use to sign in, and include the receipt or order number if you have it. Refunds go back to the original payment method through Dodo Payments, our merchant of record. How long the money takes to show depends on your bank or card.
A refund ends Pro on that account; dictation on your Mac keeps working on Free. If the law where you live gives you more, that applies too.
